POSITION SUMMARY:
The Foundation Director is responsible for fund development through special projects, events, annual giving campaigns and planned giving. The Foundation Director will work closely with the Foundation Board of Directors and the CEO.
JOB DUTIES:
Prepares strategic plan with short- and long-range goals to meet institutional funding objectives, and enlists support from members of institution staff, the governing body, and volunteer organizations.
Attend Foundation Board meetings; responsible to assure minutes and periodic reports are presented to the Foundation Board.
Appoints, leads, evaluates, and manages Foundation staff and volunteer staff.
Establishes and maintains Foundation policies, systems, and procedures.
Prepares and administers departmental budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of two years related experience. Previous experience in healthcare foundation, grant development and/or major fundraising required.
