Riverwood team information for local Komen Race
All those who registered for the Riverwood Ribbon Racers team for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure may pick up their race packets and T-shirts in the lobby of Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin on Friday, June 25, the day before the race. If you are unable to pick up your packet on the 25th and will be attending the race, your packet will be available at the Riverwood tent at the event.
If you signed up as a Spirit Runner, you can pick up your packet anytime from June 25 through July 2 at the hospital lobby.
“I would like to thank all who have signed up for our community team to support this important cause,” says Amy Renner, Breast Health Care Coordinator at Riverwood. “About 75% of the money raised at this event stays in the Brainerd Lakes Affiliate area, which includes Aitkin and other surrounding communities.”
The Riverwood Ribbon Racers team picture is scheduled for being taken at 8:10 a.m. on Sat., June 26, near the red, white and blue balloons at the race. The breast cancer survivor photo will be taken at 8:25 a.m.
Nearly 200 people—Riverwood employees and local residents—have signed up for the Riverwood Ribbon Racers team. If you are attending the race, carpooling is recommended. For more information about the race, go to www.komenbrainerdlakes.org.
