Riverwood offers sports physicals at reduced rate

Students in need of sports physicals have an opportunity to get them at a reduced cost.

Riverwood Healthcare is offering sports physical exams at a special reduced rate of $50 on a limited basis in designated dates in June at its Aitkin, Garrison and McGregor clinics. No insurance will be accepted.

Those who have insurance to cover sports physical exams may schedule them at any time during regular clinic hours except on July 20 and 27 and August 2 and 9.

These 10-minute appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on these designated dates and Riverwood clinic locations.
Aitkin: July 20 (Dr. Don Hughes) and July 27 (Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Weyer)
McGregor: August 2 (Dr. Tim Komoto)
Garrison: August 9 (Nurse Practitioner Mary Mapes)

Sports physical forms must be completed and signed by parents prior to the appointment. To get your forms, go to www.riverwoodhealthcare.com and click on Sport Physicals on the home page.
